Rein Medical completes its management team and appoints Dr. Peter Kohrs as the second managing director alongside Stephan Rein. He takes over from Dieter Cyganek, who retired after nearly 30 years of service for one of the leading Medical IT providers in Germany and Europe. Dr. Kohrs assumes responsibility for the technology, quality management, and regulatory affairs departments. "I look forward to our collaboration, which began on January 1st. Dr. Kohrs and I will focus our energy on advancing Rein Medical and shaping the future successfully with our customers," says Rein.
At the beginning of the year, Dr. Kohrs transitioned from the surgical lighting manufacturer Dr. Mach GmbH & Co. KG to Rein Medical, joining as Chief Technology Officer (CTO). The 43-year-old married father has been working as a development manager and technical director in the medical market since completing his studies in industrial engineering in Hamburg and earning his Ph.D. in 2014.
With a newly established leadership team, Rein Medical aims to continue the ongoing realignment of the company. "We are undergoing continuous improvement processes to consistently adapt the company to changing market conditions," says Dr. Kohrs. One of his primary tasks is to optimize the company's processes and increase efficiency, allowing for a focus not only on its strengths but also on customer needs. "Users will notice this in the form of streamlined processes," says the new second managing director.
