JVC CL-S1200
JVC launches the CL-S1200 color monitor with a 30.9-inch screen diagonal Medical images of different modalities such as CT, CR/DR, MR, ultrasound or mammography and pathology on one monitor – that’s what most radiologists want.
Many of them still use several medical displays side by side.
JVCKENWOOD’s new 30.9-inch CL-S1200 color monitor makes this a thing of the past.
The device with 12 megapixels (4,200 horizontal and 2,800 vertical) can display different medical images side by side.
The arrangement of the windows can be freely selected and the large screen without a center bar creates a comfortable environment for radiological diagnostics.
With its maximum brightness of 1200 cd/m² and a contrast ratio of 1500:1, it is also suitable for mammography. Latest technology integrated The monitor is equipped with the latest technology.
The patented Dynamic Gamma function, for example, analyzes the entire screen content and selects the correct gamma curve for each individual pixel in real time.
This applies to all images – whether ultrasound, endoscope, pathology or nuclear medicine – and always results in an optimal display.
“This is even possible with moving images without any problems, even though millions of operations per second are required here,” explains Marcel Herrmann, Marketing Manager Medical Imaging at JVCKENWOOD.
The innovative turboluminance function can increase the brightness of the screen to up to 1000cd/m² in order to enlarge recognizable grey scales.
This enables the radiologist to reliably assess even low-contrast lesions on mammograms.
The effect is further enhanced by the Visual Point mode.
The luminance and color temperature of the CL-S1200 are adjusted automatically and in real time.
“The built-in color front sensor on the screen constantly measures the color temperature and adjusts changes over a long period of time,” says Herrmann.
This is easy on the examiner’s eyes – as is the built-in lighting on the back of the monitor and the indirect lighting of the keyboard and mouse.
Last but not least, the smooth, even design of the CL-S1200 ensures that both the monitor and the wide-angle swivel joint can be disinfected and thus kept hygienically clean.
