In addition to a dedicated team and committed partners, the growth is based on reliable suppliers who have enabled production without restrictions.
“As we have replenished our stocks, we will also be able to supply our customers as planned in the future,” says Rein.
While business outside Europe came to an almost complete standstill – including the market entry in the USA, which has been postponed to 2021 – demand has increased, particularly in Germany.
“After a brief period of orientation in the hospitals, the projects have started again,” Rein is pleased to report.
“The hygiene concepts allow our employees to work normally on site, which is extremely important. Servicing and installing the systems requires our presence and the systems are still needed – and in some cases even more so.”
Integrated OR solutions strike a chord
SMART OR, the solution for video and signal management in the operating room, was in particularly high demand last year.
It ensures that images and videos are distributed, recorded and managed in the operating room and beyond.
In addition to routing and room-internal signal distribution, the solution also includes encoding and enables fast, bandwidth-optimized streaming of media content within the IT network.
This is complemented by comprehensive signal management and its network-wide availability.
“A central OP integration of hardware and software components offers the opportunity to optimize workflows and reduces the risk of operating errors. With our solution and the OPERION workstations, wall-integrated monitors and the versatile CLINIO all-in-one PC series, the OR of the future will become a digital performance center,” says Rein.
With these arguments, Rein Medical was able to convince renowned healthcare facilities in Germany and Europe in 2020, such as the Klinikum Heidenheim, Hôpital Henri Mondor Créteil and the Clinique de La Source Lausanne.
The company from Mönchengladbach also met with a great response with its wide range of 4K video support products.
The hardware ranges from displays from the SILENIO and CLINIO series to wall-integrated monitors and workstations from the OPERION family.
The sizes range from 24 inches to 55 inches.
A 75-inch wall monitor for large operating theaters with a 4K display and UHD Quadview, on which up to four images can be displayed simultaneously in full HD, is also part of the IT manufacturer’s product portfolio.
Stephan Rein finds it difficult to look ahead to 2021: “Many things are still unpredictable and unpredictable. This includes further developments in the important markets of India, China and the USA. However, we hope to get off to a flying start there next year. In Europe, we want to further strengthen and expand our position.”
